Samba Diakite wants to stay and fight for a chance

Not sure it would be safe to play him at RB! I've recently thought that if you put him further up the field and took away some of the defensive duties (i.e tackling in general) from his game he'd be a real asset. He's much better going forward than he is defending.
For attitude alone, he deserves a chance. He wants to be here and he has the ability. It's up to him to ensure when he is given a chance he doesnt go and do something silly.

Think people go way over the top about his tackling!!! One of the best players this country has ever produced could not tackle and was always chopping people down aka Paul Scholes. Difference is Samba got red cards for his tackles which highlighted his eagerness to get stuck in had he not got the reds no one would be talking about it
He needs someone to put their arm round him and teach him the game as the raw ability and talent is there but he wants to win the ball at every opportunity but the learning is knowing when to win it and when to stand off; thats all that is missing. But at QPR in recent years we don't coach that's plain to see from has been served up (Hoillett another example makes the same mistakes game after game, caulker made same mistakes etc)
