The attack will be of great concern this season without Austin or an adequate replacement. We will sit there watching and wondering whete the goals will come from.

My big concern Stan - that midfield should hold its own in this league but you need to be able to hurt people in the final third. Charlie stays, happy days but I am realist and know that he will be gone by the end of the window. In his place we have Polter who looks ok, JET who has spent the last 2 seasons as an impact sub as he doesn't consistently put a shift in for 90 mins and a couple of EDS strikers who will probably run hot and cold due to age.
As said many a time before if Charlie does go we need to invest a very big chunk of transfer fee on a proven goalscorer - Lambert would have been perfect but sadly has gone to Albion
How's that Hall looked? Worth to sign? 45 minutes is a very short time to make judgement, but can't wait too much longer,if we want some cb's
I thought he looked calm and assured, and good on the ball. Did well I thought. Asked a spurs mate about him and he said he's a good young player that never quite made it at spurs but could do ok for a championship side.

polter looks like a target man in Zamora's mold (won't score many either). As for the EDS strikers they'll do well to a) get in the team and b)actually score more than once or twice all season. Quite frankly QPRs youth players are 3rd rate.
i doubt very much that they will spend much of the fee they get for Austin £2m at best. Even then, it would probably be for some striker with 'potential' who'll be no better than Steve Slade was in 1996.
