Queried why a loan deal, apparently Fer doesn't want to leave but I think we need him off the wage bill. Personally I'd rather we just sold him, he's not gonna play for us in the Championship and we're not likely to bounce straight back up!

So he doesn't want to leave but won't play for us in the Championship ?
I'm confused..... Keep him then ?

Unless we've given up on selling Austin & Phillips or outsourcing Traore or Sandro.....

Or what we simply have to do to follow the FFP rules?

Not if we are doing business like this. Baffled if true.

Agree.....was something I posted the other day. Every club he's joined (Hoos) he has restructured the finances...ie...Austerity...sort of Scrooge Red Adair

I think it was The Mirror that ran the same story a month ago, and it sounds like The Sun are just using the same story.

Not sure anything can be believed in papers now mate.
Daily Mail have just run a story that West Ham now want Austin and will rival Newcastle for his signature.
Says that McClaren wants Charlie to spearhead there attack and talks will take place next week!!

I guess that reporter didn't see the McClaren interview earlier

I agree and posted a similar comment on the thread about the twente midfielder.
Should QPR somehow go back up again this season they will get to have Fer and hopefully an improved Caulker. If not perhaps if they have good seasons their value will increase even if they only have 2 years left on their deals.
