The fact that beer contains alcohol and coke doesnt? We already get wanchors in every stadium tanked up before games acting stupid, allowing drinking alcohol during games would only fuel that fire.

But at cricket you dont get the same crowd that goes to football. And rugby fans all mix together, home and away. Union anyway, not sure about league, there is no home and away section.
