Personally, I think if we could get a couple of million off someone for him he's worth selling. However, If we aren't going to sell him then what's the point in not playing him from the start. One of two things happens: either he comes good and plays well, or we decide he doesn't deserve an important role and use him more sparingly, but the idea that we should kinda just let him rot away is absolutely ludicrous.

I think he's been rubbish, but under new management, with a new lease of life, why not give the lad a go. Everyone on here loves to hate him, but do we honestly need to get rid of another to thin the squad even more?

He's clearly low on confidence, so if CR can convince him that he may have a future here maybe we will see a better side of him. Please don't slate me for my opinion it's just what I think. Everyone to their own and all that. COYRs

I have had enough of him but if CR is going to give him a chance, he has to deliver from the get go!

He's had chances that's the thing. Ramsey did include him in the second half of the season and yet again he failed to deliver. This is on top of 2 seasons of football before where he played fairly regularly including a year in the championship.

The thing that some don't grasp is his ability to know what's going on around him and lift his head. He has t got that and that's not going to change.

Raw attributes are his pace and low centre of gravity but that doesn't make you a good footballer. As said before he made a name for himself be aide of pace and a few good finishes. But look at the bigger picture and his overall game is shocking.

But why did he play well for Blackburn and not us? That´s the question.

Yeah I agree. I think in a way it's deceptive because he is quicker with a ball at his feet than he is sprinting.

                            Yes, apparently £50k a week.

Whatever anyone may think of him as a player, it is pretty clear that he is not worth anything close to £50k per week! Another one of our very expensive failures, although it has to be said that at least he was a promising YOUNG player so we were on the right track here.

                              Agree with that!

I think we make matters worse by playing him in on the wing. When he picks the ball up deep you know whats gonna happen, every time. He's either gonna give it away cheaply or spoon it into touch. Personally I'd play him further up the pitch, maybe off 1 striker. His pace will cause problems up there, on the wing he's a lost cause!

That might not be a bad idea but if we sign Ravel there's no chance.
