Assumed or not, I find it hilarious that we all know player wages.

We got relegated so he would have had to taken a cut... still did well in our winning season playing more games than most. I remember him doing something very important at Wembley too, but I guess we can forget that now too.

quite probably has a lot to do with what goes on at QPR, given that so many players (and managers it seems) fail at the club.

Hahaha...where you been for the last 4 years? You think that he had a pay cut clause in his contract under Tony Fernandes !!?

I would imagine Hoilett has the blueprint of a contract that the Board are trying desperately not to repeat !! Shades of SWP II (IMO).

Nobody want him and we are stuck with him just like Traore.

Every time you see Blackburn on premier years on sky sports he is a naughty player, I remember the day we signed him I jumped for joy. I thought we was lucky because at his time at Blackburn he could off gone to the likes off manure, liverpool, scum, God knows what's happened to him he as to be the worst crosser off a ball I have ever seen. Even the one at wembley went to there player
              You Rsssssss

I think he still has genuine potential. You can tell he's just so low on confidence (similar to Phillips at the start of the season). A run in the side might do him some good, he mst start taking people on and running at defences. i think he just needs assurances that he will stick with him.

I'll give you the fact that I too could be assuming that he had a clause, but for us all to think negative on every single thing the club has or will do is ridic.

I would imagine he had some sort of pay clause if we went down, I honestly think that.

Are you having a laugh. Hoilett has had loads of chances. He played regularly in the championship and done f all. Harry had a love in with him at the start of the pre, season and kept playing him over Phillips and again he did t perform.

To even compare him to Phillips is a joke. Phillips always had potential, anyone who had seen him at Wycombe and Blackpool would of known that. Hoilett got famous of a few corners he scored that were played on TV.

Wasn't until you watch him play week in week out you realise what a bad footballer he is.

Yep, the potential to run into a cul-de-sac every game when he does the one move he's got in his locker !

You definetely can't claim Hoilett never had potential. He looked permanently dangerous at Blackburn. Running at defenders, shooting from range etc. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't comparing him to Phillips in terms of ability at all. I compared him in terms of low confidence in the same way I could have compared him to a thousand other low-confidence players.

                          Massively overrated and massively overpaid.

Betty did a better job than him!

I don't think he's very good but worth another shot perhaps? Just for the first few games?
