If that's how you take it fine, but my take on it is that he/ the club will take less than the price. Otherwise why not just say again unless their price is met they are going nowhere . no need to state the club needs to recoup funds.

If we are going to reinvest the Austin money in the squad then we need to get things moving.

Wonder if we will accept less than the £15mill though?
Leicester the only club so far to table a bid of £12mill which we rejected.
I wonder if that was all Leicester was willing to pay, as maybe another £1.5 on top and a deal could have been done?

Charlie might have rejected Leicester as an option, hence their bid was rejected by the club.

There's no maybe about it. He's already said that will happen starting this season.

Ramsey will be saying all this about Austin so that clubs think we are desperate and offer under the £15m and we end up keeping him, which is what Ramsey wants

Plausible, could be a clever mind game.

That's a positive slant on it.

I missed a lot of it, but when they first got onto the subject, CR did in fact say that whilst it was unlikely that he stayed, the amount would need to be AT LEAST £15m.

It shows we ain't desperate to get rid when we turned down Leicesters bid of £12million.
I know there's been things said about stability and that, but I wonder if we are just gonna go for it this season?
We have just got £9million from Sterling deal, and another £3.5mill has just come our way with the sale of McCarthy.

Could sell Sandro, and maybe keep Austin, Phillips and Fer and just go for it this season.

Ramsey also not going to announce to the world we are spends g the sterling money or have vast amounts to spend.

He's not a clown like Harry or tf who runs their mouths about how much money we have. We are now being portrayed as club who spends wisely and hasn't got vast sums as this will help us in negotiations and with wages.

Also agree with the lads think it was Jimmy and Matty that have backed Ramsey from the beginning and think he'll be very good for the club long term.

Exactly, with the Sterling & McCarthy money we have seen £12.5million come our way.
If someone does stump up the £15mill for Austin we have £27.5million and still have Fer, Phillips and Sandro that we wouldn't have any problems in raising more capital if we want to.

I like the way the squad is shaping up.
But, I would love to know who Ramsey is looking at Striker Wise, as there's gotta be someone he has in mind at the moment.

That's the real reason Les is back at the club.... And they signed that Tyler Blackwood kid to clean his boots.....

Erm....the answer is yes. The fella that hosts The Sports Bar, the show after Saggers, asked CR, what's the lowest QPR would accept
                                and Chris said £14 mill.
So imo if teams think we'll move on the price, then they won't match it.......Wonder what Les thought
