  • A New Striker - A Name Not Previously Mentioned (Cheap - ish...)

I've sort of held back from just putting this guy's name in the frame...he's been off the radar for some time now, but I know the history and exactly what he can do and where his weaknesses are.

Consistently quietly banging in goals in League 1 (away from the high profile Beckford and Shelvey) for a team without much other support; very highly rated by the Premier League club where he learned his trade; would be relatively cheap in comparison with the likes of Beckford, Hooper etc in both terms of fee, signing on fee, agents fee and wages and would walk over broken glass to get here.

Step forward one Mr Lee Barnard at Southend United.

    Do the deal.

nothing will happen 'til Jan now, the most we can hope for is a loan from a prem team but I wouldn't expect that!

I always thought we should have gone for him when he was at Spurs. His record for their reserves was excellent and he's doing well at Southend. Would be a good signing.

              Out of interest, why not?

His record bears close scrunity and is up there with Beckford, Hooper, Shelvey, Sharp etc and would be a great deal cheaper. He's sharp in and around the box, decent aerially and technically sound.

Buy or loan Peter Kovacs. A striker. Huge as well. Hungarian who plays in Norway. I have mentioned his name 150 times. Going to do another 150...oh, he is a manmountain. Controlls everything in the air. Good on the floor as well.:red_heart::red_heart:

Queen's Park Rangers shouldn't be shopping in the bargain basement. The club has fabulously wealthy owners and should be moving heaven and earth to get in the best players it possibly can.
