Would love to have Fer next season, thik he has the potential to really have a big impact on the league, but I just can't see it. I think he is genuinely happy here tbh, but it is thr Euro's next summer and I can't imagine playing 2nd tier football will do his chances of making th Dutch squad too much good, I have a feeling his agent will be doing all he can to get him out.

If he does stay, though, we could have one hell of a player on our hands at this level!

Would love to have him, but cant see it! Think clubs are waiting to try and drive the price down probably another deadline day deal, along with Austin and Phillips

Exactly my thinking n all mate. Given the last few years shambolic business I didn't think I would say this, but I actually do trust the club not to sell for under the asking price on any player though. £15m Charlie, £10m Phillips & £10m Fer or they stay at us.

Don't think anybody is under any illusion that he is devoted to us at all tbh, we are all aware he will likely move.

Most probably true, but wouldn't be good for his reputation if he jumps ship again, after being in a side that got relegated. Same with Caulker.

Not sure they are that bothered by that, but you'd hope they would be.

That's the way I see it. Euros and Holland ambition will drive this.

But tbf he had nothing keeping him at Norwich. At least he gets to stay in London if he doesnt move.

                    Direct replacement IMO

Another spin on it is with Chery the Dutch coach has double the reason to keep an eye on us. If we spank this league and those two do well no reason they shouldn't push on in the Dutch team.

The Championship may be second tier in England but overall quality better than a lot of the top leagues in Europe.

I accept Fer, Phillips and Austin will likely go but staying not all doom and gloom. If they have confidence in the club overall and in the coaching set up to help them improve as players may be better off staying than moving to a lower Premiership side.

I am also hopping that attracting Chery to the club gives Fer an extra reason to stay
