Expect mccarthy to dislodge speroni, think its been on the cards for pardew for months now. He likes his keepers tall. Speroni for me is a better keeper. Mccarthy even whilst at reading was battling with federici and ask a reading fan will say it was 50/50 between them. Mccarthy is mostly known to QPR fans as the one player who played an absolute blinder against us whilst at reading. That aside his handful of appearances have been of quite poor standard but the same happened to matt phillips who was used in/out of the side under 'Arry. Once Ramsey gave phillips consecutive games, he flourished. Expect the same from mccarthy.
