Aren't we due nigh on £20 mil in parachute money next season? Our wages are clearly OTT by Championship standards but they're sort of inline with our income as a relegated team. The tv money plus the Sterling bounty plus fee(s) for Charlie or whoever would possibly see us turn a profit!?

on the basis that a similar income with a £65m wage bill produced about a £70m loss 2 years ago, we might manage to break even/turn a small profit once the player sales are added in.

Both Sandro and Caulker will take wage cuts if they stay part of their contract clause relating to relegation

          I posted this a while back: http://www.wearetherangersboys.com/f...-flops-earning

Some of the numbers in the posts above appear to be incorrect. I think these numbers are close (not too hard to find on the internet and no reason to believe those numbers are not close to the mark):
          - Green: 50kpw
          - Onuoha: 55kpw
          - Hoilett: 50kpw
          - Diakite: 45kpw
          - Sandro: 60kpw
          - McCarthy: 15kpw
          - Caulker: 33kpw
          - Traore: 40kpw
          - Henry: 15kpw

= 363kpw (£19m per year) and that is only nine players! We will be paying at least 25 and in the past have paid many others who did not make the final 25.

As has been pointed out though, some of those numbers may be reduced a bit by relegation clauses.

My guess is the final PLAYER wage bill (a portion of the wage bill given in the financials) will be around £40m (which is absolutely ridiculous for a Championship club with ticket and sponsorship revenues of around £10m total if we are lucky).

Austin was on something relatively low, 28k I *think*.

dsqpr's post seems fairly accurate, Traore on 40k is criminal.

Traore signed a new deal which I guess would have been on lowrr wages than he was previously on.

This whole thread is based on assumptions and very unlikely to be anywhere near accurate in terms of the actual wage bill at the club!
when ned joined he was looking to rent a 5 bed property in barnes villiage he went somewhere else in the end on that money you'd have thought he'd buy somewhere
