Played with Mo Shariff for a few seasons at Slough. Was always going to be a decent player and worked so hard (even had trials at Arsenal) but obviously didn't work out at the top level. His old man used to play for Burundi so knew his stuff!

My Auntie lived for years across the road from Paul Mersons mum n dad and she was really good friends with them, so met him quite a few times from him being in the youth team to then going on and making it.
Some of the stuff I know about him, I might release a book if he slates us again this season!!!

One of my mates is now captain of gillingham Doug loft. Wasn't the best footballer I grew up with but he worked his nuts off, kept going when the rest of us gave up. Playing for Hastings and got scouted for Brighton.
Also Harry arter the Bournemouth cm...was quality from the day I met him, worked his way up the leagues right to the top. ( helped that his brother in law is Scott parker)Will be weird seeing him in the prem next year.
Use to hang out with our own Michael doughty And stay with him in Nottingham when his old man was chairman of Forrest. 5 years younger than me and always use to show me up when we had a kick around. Was so surprised when we signed him my years of telling him it's all about QPR must of got to him.
How old you fordy and where abouts from Kent you from, wonder if we crossed paths on the football pitch?

worked with a bloke who played against Stan when Rangers 2nd team played Southall (Bowles hated flying so stayed at home while the 1st team toured abroad). Said what a player, he couldn't get near him. Two mates from Batman Close came close. One had trials at Charlton but had too many distractions gong on in his life. Another played for Slough and a few other sides at that levelI must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

2 of my best pals semi pro at Slough so nothing to shout about. No actual mates are pro but Caulker is very pally with a few mates of mine (although don't know him myself) just seen him out n about a couple of times with the lot I know. He's a bit of a c0ck.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
