Which stadiums are rocking at full capacity each week? And which are a sea of empty seats? Your grounds too big for you is a favourite jibe of fans across the country but where is it justified? We took a closer look at attendances...
I read that Jimmy, was Man City quite low, they are terrible supporters, they always leave the ground early even when there teams winning which is offen

Always thought they were good fans back in the day. Always brought bundles and hardcore following through the tough times, but maybe the new skool fans are not cut from the same cloth?

We defo need to move on but not 40k imo. 30-35k would be ideal for us.
I think that's too big aswell. 25k with room to expand all the way up to 40
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
Extra 6,000 odd seats on now? Hardly seems worth it.
For the hundred or so mil it will cost us to build, definitely not. Considering the complete train wreck we've been the past few years, to be at 97% capacity is impressive. Imagine if we actually get good some day.
A new stadium will be home for the next 100 years at least so 35k with room to expand greatly is a minimum imo.
ps sorry for derailing thread and going off topic!

In the 80s they had top fans,, but as they got bigger there fans expect nothing more than to win trophies, now they just try and see who can win there way to the car park first
Seems to me that most recent seasons has seen the clubs with smallest grounds getting relegated from the prem. However unpalatable it seems I cannot see how an 18000 capacity stadium sits with genuine ambition to be a bona fide and established top flight club.

Absolutely agree. The sooner the better as far as I am concerned.
