I've been saying this all summer. All the calls to drop Green for this guy are well off the mark for me. If Palace want to give us 3m for him then get the deal done in my opinion!

Saw a keeper who today and last season that I do not rate, kicking and distribution poor today,and games played last season, would sell him as soon as possible, not seen anything to inspire confidence.

So after the whole 5 games you have seen him that's it? Did you ever see him play for reading by any chance? Or did you ever think these friendlies are the perfect time to play yourself back into form and tbh he didn't do to much wrong today so think some are just being very harsh for the sake of it.

It's just do we lose someone with the potential McCarthy has just to accommodate green for another 12 months. Tough call and it's very similar to what happened at Chelsea. Cech is a fantastic keeper but if they kept courtois on the sideline any longer he was off. Scum made the hard choice be issue courtois is the future. To me that's what ,McCarthy is to QPR.
