Everyone now seems to be on the same page at the club, pulling in the same direction and working hard - From the CEO to the academy managers.

    Exciting times ahead
And it only took 4 years, 2 relegations and 200 odd million. Well done them.

So your gonna hold that against them forever now are ya? - Even when, like now, they have started to turn things around?... Do me a favour FFS.
We are where we are.. its happened, its in the past. For christ sake commend your club for righting their wrongs and doing a good job.

Its a good job it weren't your 200 odd million pounds eh?.... Its not like they purposely made mistakes... and there's a lot more owners out there who would of A) Just walked away and B) not even owned up to their mistakes.

As long as that debt stands I will hold them accountable.
When the debt has been wiped out then, I will give them a fresh chance.

Thats answered my question and i think its a pretty sad answer to be honest... You may as well no longer support the club if you look at it like that.

WLIR's, just to give this some perspective - you're addressing someone who, to this day, despises Neil Warnock, despite everything he achieved for QPR.

They've stuck with us through thick and thin these last few years, been open, honest and thick skinned! - To me they've shown they love QPR and are determined to get things right and run the club in the right way.

They admitted mistakes were made and that we needed to go back to basics.. Tony realised, being the main man in terms of everything wasnt maybe the best position for him and made the decision of taking a backseat from now on and bring Football, QPR people into the club like Sir Les.

The club has already drastically changed in the space of 6 months IMO! I love everything the club is doing at the moment.. From the under 21's being in the same country as the first team for their pre-season to not budging on the fees we want for Charlie and Matty (the attitude of the 2 players, has been immense in itself through all the speculation). The fact we have gone out and scouted the likes of Blackwood in the under 21's, Polter from Germany, Gladwin, Luongo, the young Monaco lad signed for under 21's and not to mention getting J Mack back!, makes me proud of my club again.

The promotion of Steve Gallen to 1st team coach and Paul Hall to under 21's coach are movements which should be commended by everyone who supports the club. It shows that you can be whatever you want to be now at QPR, from employee to player.

I know its still early but everything seems to be moving in the right direction now and in the right way.. Results are not the be all and all this season, its about building and getting the foundations in place to go back to being a fantastic club - And enjoying the football again as fans!

We all had our reservations when Les was instilled, as to whether it was another 'PR spin' or if it was finally a general step in a new direction.
To me Les is already starting to prove that he is turning the club around and long may it continue! I love my QPR again!! :-)
Great post West London, I'm also looking forward to the new season with renewed optimism based on the changes at the club.

Just ignore the nay sayers. They are boringly predictable.

Agree with those that say let us see what happens on the pitch. Renewed optimism re the season ahead but all this great work/change of ethos etc won't mean much if we start getting tonked every week.

Love the post west. You hit the nail on the head and it's great that there are a few of us on here with our eyes wide open and can see the MAJOR improvements and strides that are taking place at QPR.

Les is doing a brilliant job. Put tf in his place who we don't really see popping up anymore. Some smart business being conducted and a new ethos implemented.

The praise that you are giving and others including me have been saying is well warranted. There is nothing to be negative about right now the club can't do anymore what they have which also includes prices for gamesnext year.

Right now it's not about the league it's about the build up, getting prepared, laying the foundations for the future, rejuvenating the squad and installing a new club philosophy. The club are doing that as far as I can see which is all positive.

For enough in a couple of months and we are rock bottom no wins awful football I'd understand the negativity but we are way off that.

People should be proud of the way we are conducting ourselves right now and be hoping it filters through to a really good successful season.

Good on you for the post west and sticking your ground with the boo boys.

And thank God we do. The club should employ Hitman as an adviser to keep Tony in check. Much as a eunuch (sorry, Hits) was employed to whisper in the Roman emperor's ear 'You are mortal', lest he be carried away by the adulation of the crowd...

What road would that be son? I'm just concerned your seemingly permanent angry and depressed persona is hiding much deeper issues and, if so, you get the treatment you need. If there is no underlying issue try Prozac.

Nobody is denying the mistakes of the past although always easy to be critical with the benefit of hindsight. However we finally seem to be totally changing direction and you still moan. Chill and see what happens.

I think people are missing the point. At this stage it doesnt matter what happens on the pitch, im just recognising the marvellous and promising job that is being done.
