Great choice and hopefully will play in the middle not full back.

No complaints about that from me. Actually glad he's staying.

Was only for the friendly, not sure if he'll be captain for the season.

Think Hill will remain Club Captain

EDIT: Fully take that back, just seen the tweet from QPR, good choice IMO

Can't argue with that. Great he's staying.

Him and caulker best cb pairing in the league. We are very spoilt to have them both at this level.

I'm happy with this decision. I think he will have a great season in the Championship as long as he stays as a centre back.

Agree Maids if Caulker stays then we will certainly have a strong CB pairing which makes me more optimistic for next season. Still think there is a good chance he could go though (caulker)

                      Snap.

Questions about his ability in the PL, but at this level I think he is a great CB. Big, quick, powerful.

Only other candidate for skipper was Henry IMO, either way would have been happy. Think Ned will be a big player for us this year.

I believe with this decision to name him captain, he will be playing CB. We need to bring in another RB though as Harriman went out on loan and not sure if Furlong is ready to be 1st choice yet

Good choice , may mean Caulker will be sold (hope not) those two at the heart of defence in the Championship should prove to be a solid paring

Can someone please explain why this may mean that Caulker will be sold?

I figured Nedum was made captain, didnt realise it had any impact of a bid coming from WBA or any other club interested.

Nedum is the right man for the job. Coming up to 100 games and always working hard for the club.
