The club haven't helped themselves by engaging with the local community erm, not at all.
So wrongly/rightly the WF people are getting a lot more support than people think who don't live this way. They're talking and meeting with councillors and MPs - the club are doing nothing.
They need to up their PR game. I checked and this advert cost £2K - pennies to the club if they want to start engaging locally. They should be hold opening forums, setting up a pop-up shop in Ealing Broadway and engaging with the people that live here. You know, all the basic, simple things any developer or bloody business would do!
It does all make you wonder what COO Mark Donnelly and CEO Lee Hoos are doing to earn their salaries.
is that off Hangar Lane West, would have thought that will cost a fortune the location and all
Yes mate but it would be ours if be bought (instead of lease at WF) and what I reckon you would spend in buying it you would make back on the site more or less being good to go and not needing masses of work or money spent on it so swings and round abouts. It already has the infrastructure in terms of car parking, physical structures in addition has swimming pool, astroturf floodlit pitch and I would guess space for 6 full size pitches possibly more
I hope the club have considered this even if the decision was a no as it would be silly not to have considered it
