I rate phillips massiveI and think he would of been a massive asset for us if he had the desire to stay and play.
My problem with Matty right now is he doesn't look like he wants to be here and it's showing in his half hearted performances.
Right now if he wants to go is take 8/9 mill go and get Byrne and a decent cb

As for never getting to the goal line, here is his heat map and from what I can see, he seems to take the most touches in that corner of the pitch where he can deliver it. He attempted 9 crosses and 5 of them hit their target. The second best player on that pitch with crossing was Whittingham, who attempted 8 crosses and got 2 (only) on target to their man.
And then talking about can't finish, he gets 3 shots off in the box and only one of them misses the target and that - If I recall correctly - perhaps could have been hit better but he was on the turn and under a lot of pressure.
