  • 8-9 mill incoming soon.....

sterling left of liverpool tour on ssn as in advanced talks with Man City...

Deal believed to be over 40m possibly 45 plus 5 mill in add ons...

Looks like we will pocket 8-9 mill.

Hope we bank it personally and see it as a extra bonus to pay of debts. Would prefer to use funds from the sales of Sandro, Fer or Charlie to reinvest in players..

potentially 10 mil in total for a 15 year old we barely had a chance to train... Solid work from the club IMO

Just wish they'd crack on with it, this signing is going on for blooming ever!

A "well done" has to go to Liverpool too. They could have just taken the Stirling situation with us to a tribunal and we'd have got peanuts. It was as much their "niceness" that helped us get cash for him before and hopefully a shed load of cash now.

Plus we already got some bunce when he played for England and when he completed X games and all that. We had quite a few add ons other than the sell on %

Good point on the add ons, conceivable we could be in the mid 10's for a player we never used.

Raheem Sterling will earn around £200,000-a-week at City. [Express - Paul Joyce]

If this is true then City are being taken to the cleaners. 50 mil for the transfer and 41 mil for wages on a 4 year deal for a 20 year old. Absolute madness

He is so over rated, £50 million, they must be mad, £10 million coming our way is very welcome though.

I don't even rate him that highly. Done nothing in the last year
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He's over valued as is most English players but the boy is a fantastic talent.

Wants to win things and Liverpool haven't done much of that recently. Not dissimilar to Rooney leaving Everton to Man U. Making the move at early age to go fulfil his footballing dreams.

Sterling stats were the best for a u21 player in Europe last year on goals, assists, completed dribbles and chances created. Sterling has fantastic vision and augero will thrive of it.

Not worth 50 mill 100% and think Liverpool have pushed the price up by a good 10 -15 mill as they know 20% is coming to us. All this don't really rate him is rubbish.

                      That's cos Liverpool were awful

Sterling's a talent, hope he gets this move and becomes the heart of the England team. Need Rooney to fall back first though

Has the club said anything officially how this money will be used? The only thing I have read regarding new players is that we have to sell before we can buy.

How this horrible little roadman with a terrible attitude can be worth three charlie austins is a total mystery. City are making a massive massive error , he will show his true colours, which hes already showing at liverpool, and be bombed out for a tenth of what they paid in a year or two imo.

Haven't heard anyone from the club saying QPR have a % sell on clause....
Palace fans are saying Burnley have % sell on with Charlie too.....According to a Burnley source
