I got a feeling polter is going to be a really shrewd signing. And he's 6ft odd and comes with a bit of pedigree. If we bring in another striker definitely hope it's in the mild of a gray or gayle.

Yes he certainly strikes me as the type of player that roughs opposition up and gives them a hard time bit in mould of Holt

As for Gray, do rate the lad. Not the finished article needs to get better with his finishing. Got a lot of pace and gets in great positions but should of scored 25-28 goals last war with the positions he gets in.

Would prefer gayle but definitely would still be very happy with gray..
Sky bet/ betfred/. To win the championship. Brenford are 14/1 we are 16/1,, to get promoted.brentford 4/1. We are 9/2

I think hooper is overrated. For £6m I'm sure we can pick up someone a bit better from championship, premier or abroad.

Erm,perhaps a little harsh on Andre – I think Murphy and Joe Garner were the only players in the entire league to score 25-28 goals last year. But if he had, then Gray and decent little Brentford would already be in the Premier League – and so we wouldn't have to bother about them being promotion rivals.

Err how's that harsh on gray? Saying the lads got a lot of potential and would be happy to sign him?

The fact is he's not the finished article and his finishing needs to be worked on. He missed some absolute sitters last year with some easier to score than miss. The fact that I praised him for his movement and opportunities he creates shows I think he's a very good capable player.

With the chances he missed and opportunities he got himself in he could of added 5-10 more goals to his tally. To ,e that demonstrates the boys potential. It's not putting him down and I bet whoever his manager is next year will sit him down and go through his highlights and also point that out.

I should knock him out cold, but the poor bloke lost his leg to diabetes a few years back
