  • Who are all these teams a lot of our negative fans fear or

........seem to think will finish above us?

A lot of posters on here seem to think we will struggle next year and some even think we will fight relegation.
Would love to know all the teams that you think have a stronger squad than us or would swap our squad with?

    Birmingham
    Bolton
    Brentford
    Brighton
    Blackburn
    Bristol City
    Burnley
    Charlton
    Cardiff
    Derby
    Fulham
    Huddersfiled
    Hull
    Ipswich
    Leeds
    Mk dons
    Middlesborogh
    Forrest
    Preston
    Reading
    Rotherham
    Shef wed
    Wolves

Personally the ones in bold I think have very decent squads and will be up there. I also think Bolton, shef wed and boro will do well but won't have the quality we will.

When I look at that league i see 4 or 5 teams who have very similar squads to us and the rest I wouldn't swap our team with for love or money.

Just don't see how people can look at that league and think we will massively struggle.

We are stronger than Birmingham, Rotherham, mk dons, Bristol, Preston, Huddersfield, Fulham, Brentford, charlton, Brighton, reading and Ipswich. That's half the league at least imo.,would some of our supporters really say the teams mentioned here are stronger than us?

Fulham and ispwich.... What makes them stronger and better than us. Fulham were awful last year and Murphy had the best season of his career at 31 years old?

If mick gets them performing anywhere near as they did last year I'd be surprised. Just don't know what that theory is based on?

Mate its not stronger better than us chest beating fist pumping fans eyes, a lot of people think this is a very average league but in truth its been getting stronger and stronger as parachute payments have been increasing , better players are now playing in this league more money is filtering down to this league, better loans are being given a chance in this league now from prem league sides, i know its not technically a top league but it is a very difficult league to predict. You cant just say Fulham were rubbish last year so they will be this year, its not fearing as fans like to say, but you have to respect teams in this division , Who thinks say Bristol City away will be easy, or MK Dons away? They wont be

The main reason we will find all teams difficult, is they will be determined to beat us.....Prem team last season, High profile club,=big scalp.
Plus this league is wide open which gives about 18 teams out of the 24 the belief they can make the playoffs at least.
Bournemouth proved last season that teams can look beyond that too

No it's a fair point mate and to do well you have to really earn every point. I'm still a believe that a bit of quality in this league goes a long way and I think we have a lot of it. If ramseys pulls the team together and everyone works hard I really see us pushing on.

I just don't see much quality in the other teams albeit I know all are hard games. Imo our season rests on how much our players are 'wanting it'. If they show the grit and determination other teams will show we have the better quality players and I certainly wouldn't swap our squad wit Ipswich or fulhams.

I still have no idea what squad we will have next season so therefore have no idea how we will do against other teams. The reason being the transfer window shuts almost a month after the season starts so who knows who will end up going or coming. Anyone who predicts at the moment is wasting there time. Are we loosing Austin, Phillips, Fer, Sandro, Green/McCathy, Caulker and if so who is coming in.

Ask me again in October when the window shuts and I will have more of a clue of where we might be against other teams.

Just make a judgement presuming fer, Austin Philips and Sandra are not here , then you can't go wrong

We should look at it like this, at least eight of those teams listed will pose a problem. So that's two in the automatic spot, four in the play-off zone and two on the edge of the play off zone. Hopefully we'll be right up there in the mix. Looking at previous seasons shows it's very difficult to say which teams will be in the top eight.

Last time we only lost twice at home (not counting Swindon in the cup) but were let down by our away form - much like last season. I really hope we don't continue to struggle away from home.

That's a quality post mate, quality. There's a lot of quality in your quality post.

                              Keep up the quality
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
