Just seen Gayles finishes for palace on ssn yesterday. I hope we are looking at him. Really should be offering Austin at around 9m and trying to push this through.

He wont sign up with that clause mate as no one is willing to offer £15mil after a blinding season in top flight they wont pay it after being in champ

To get him to sign we prob need to say release clause of £10-12mil (value clubs will play) if we don't do up this season; if we do clause does not apply at all. Think we should nit bullet at that and back ourselves to get promoted

No I realise £20 mill is high, but imo he is worth that and with the money swilling around and him scoring even more goals for us
then we might get that, with a longer contract.
I have actually thought the same as you west, about just going for it and keep him this season, but It'd proper grind my gears as they say
if someone gets him for nothing.
I just want it sorted mate, but not for Campbell or some other downward spiralling makeweight

About 5/6 mill west. Fantastic finisher and scored goals in the prem when played. So hard to value English strikers nowadays though west as often go for inflated prices.

You see hooper valued at around 6 mill, gray at 4m I don't think you could argue gayle at 5/6 mill is bad money. Think he would score goals for fun in the championship personally.

Few of my palace mates reckons they want 8-10 m and that's what has put clubs off. That's why I'm hoping QPR and palace can come to some sort of compromise but as said before I haven't seen us linked with him and the same as afobe from wolves it's more wishful thinking on my part.

Can see us more realistically going for gray at 3/4 mill if we sell Austin personally.
