To make things worse, Santos are in financial troubles right now — Robinho just left the club on a free after they were unable to agree on a new contract... so i pretty much doubt they will be able to pay Sandro's wages all by themselves.

As for paying wages, we'll have to wait and see. It says paying wages, so i can see why the fella believes this.

I don't buy this visa BS - worst case scenario would be he'd have to leave UK and apply for a visa in his homeland. That could/should have been done weeks ago now. There has to be something else going on that's far more complex or embarrassing than a bit of immigration paperwork.

Says that Santos hope to announce Sandro next week. It would be a 1 year loan and according to this article Santos would pay Sandro's wages, and that's the confusing part. First it says the wages are estimated around R$300.000/month (~£60.000/month) and then writes about a total cost of R$4.000.000/year (~£800.000/y or ~£15.380pw).
If it is right, it means that either we will still be paying a huge part of his wages or that he earns much less than we all think...

says textually that Santos would only pay HALF his wages. According to the article, Santos and QPR only need to iron out some "details" (could it be the half wages bit???? ) and that Santos hope to announce him on monday...

Funny
Gone from all of his wages & view to perm
To all of his wages
To half his wages
What's next?? None of his wages, deal off??Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
