Just like our transfer policy this pre season. People were screaming and shouting that they were sick of us paying loads for mercenaries, and to go for young, hungry players. Yet now we aren't, and are signing these young hungry players, many of the same people still aren't happy.

someone on here posted that he was slow, yet that's not how he is seen by DUFC's manager - He is skilful, physical and quick and will add to the competition amongst our defenders," United manager Jackie McNamara told the club website.

"We are extremely fortunate that he was available and it was important that we got him before others were aware."

He's found his level at Dundee. Got other younger players coming through anyway.

As I've seen said on Twitter today, reminds me of Skapetis to Stoke, outrage when it happened and what has he done since?

Bit worried we didnt give this lad a chance.....injuries hindered him....he might have been worth a bit more patience.

To be fair to Skapetis he has been out with a bad injury for ages.

And I dont think it was just the fact Skapetis went it was that we had players like Maiga, Doyle and Keane come in, when Skapetis was scoring alot of goals in the U21s and we never gave him a look. Thats why people were annoyed.
