Would love us to actually have a player from our youth make the grade and become a first team regular. We have had a few in recent(ish) years show some promise but never quite make the grade. I remember thinking Shabazz Baidoo looked like he could be decent (admittedly I was 15 at the time!) but he's ended up spitting bars in Croydon parks. Bruno Andrade seemed like he could be the one to make the step up, but apparently not. Ehmer was given a 1st team game or 2 but now he has gone. The one player we did have break through was Ray Jones and then he went and thought he was Lewis Hamilton on the streets of East Ham in the early hours and killed himself and 2 others

This Petrasso has alot of hype about him, seem to recall Stoke trying to nick him last year? Obviouly Ramsey gave a few some game time at the back end of last year, hopefully one of those can stamp a claim to a regular spot on the side. He's been about for a while now, but whenever I have seen Doughty play he looks as though he could be a tidy player. Potentially a big season for him this year.

Yep. I am young & hungry (literally, also, before somebody says it!) but don't mean I can play for us. Still need to be good enough to play a bit.

Agree, I think the last youth player to get a good few games under his belt was Marcus Bean. Don't think Petrasso will make it here. He has been about for a while now and not getting a chance, don't think I saw his nAme on that tour list? Might be wrong. It would be good to see a few youngsters get a chance so we can judge for ourselves.
