Apart from Ray Jones and Raheem Sterling, QPR have not produced any young players good enough for regular 1st team football since Chris Wright scrapped the youth system at the club in the late 90s.
This is why I am so sceptical about any of the current crop being good enough. So to go into this season hoping that Harriman and Furlong will be good enough imo is a huge gamble.
They might be more than competent, but I guess given that Ramsey's remit for this season seems to be stability and to develop young players, it won't be a very big issue if they are not, as long as QPR are not in a relegation battle.
