  • do any of you remember johny hollins

i was reading some old chelsea program and was amazed to see he once scored 12 league goals in a season plus
5 cup goals so that shows how amazing he was to be a midfield player who was primary a defensive player when
at qpr but we didnt realise he also had attacking skills as well

17 GOALS IN ONE SEASON WOW WOW ALSO MAYBE WE NEVER TRULLY USED HIM IN HIS BEST POSITION

Part of a brilliant midfield, Francis, Thomas, Mason & Hollins.

    Fading, but brilliant memories.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

after he left us at a ripe old age he went on to have a couple of successful years at the Ar*e. Great midfield player, but was also played at the back for us and done well there too.
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

I remember him, at West Brom I think, when we were fighting for our lives relegation wise. He picked the ball up in midfiled, about 40 yards plus out, skipped a man and rattled the bar.

A great performance from him that day...

I think we lost 2-1 that day.

John Hollins was part of our best team ever very consistant with Mason, Thomas and our best ever player Gerry Francis,
I think his family are doing ok too, his son Chris works as a presenter for the BBC on sport, news watchdog, along with his daughter Victoria who presents the BBC London news quite often,

You seldom hear people discussing him and my personal favourite Don Givens on here.
