Easy to show ''love and loyalty'' when there's no other club paying his salary - year after year without any real value for the money.

Disappointed in you to be fair, you post mostly sense, you got the decorators in??
He would show love and loyalty ! he`s been getting paid thousands and thousands of pounds by QPR , without kicking a ball ! ( i know through no fault of his own ,before everyone starts getting all precious !),
Brighton ,i reckon weve been amazingly loyal to him already , it time to cut our losses . ( at least we were allowed to want rid of Harry ! Faulin has been elevated to be some sort of deity by loads on here ,when in reality he is was a fairly decent championship player , who stands next to no chance of ever getting back to his best unfortunately )Rangers,Scooters ,Tunes and Trainers

A lot of sentiment on this thread.
I think if you take emotions out of it then it probably isn't that wise a decision to extend Faurlin's contract, unless of course it is pay as you. Also, as many have pointed out, it's not like Faurlin has been going poor whilst he has been on the sidelines. And before anyone gets on my case, I am a big Faurlin fan, I'm just saying it as I see it!

But maybe it was a previous lack of sentiment that has led to our failings over last few seasons. The club may have realised to really push on you need a cohesive dressing room, a connection with the fans and players that have the well-being of QPR as a priority which are things that have certainly been missing for a while. If that can be achieved by offering a player a pay as you play deal or at least reduced contract then I don't see the problem. Again this summer we are having a massive overhaul of players and its going to be the players who know the club well (faurlin, hill, Mackie) who are going to crucial in helping the new kids settle and develop on and off the field

Keeping Faurlin on a years contract on probably reduced wages is a mere drop in the ocean compared to the contracts we've handed out previously, so what if it's heart over head, his enthusiasm and affection for the club is worth having around the club for this new era. Can't believe some would get shot of a player who clearly cares for the club and wants to be here after the amount of wronguns we've had through the door, these leeches have been coming to Rangers for years, think Vinnie " the co(k " Jones and Razor "bellend" Ruddock. Players like Hill and Ale around the place are a huge assetFrom the Hills of Kerry

Fingers, toes, arms, legs and everything crossed he can get an injury free season behind him. Just a wonderful bloke and a player.

I know a few won't agree and want big names, but simply listening to him and Jamie Mackie talking about Rangers makes me so happy. Amazing to know just how much these players care about our club. That's a great starting point for me and if their attitude rubs off on the new lads, we are going to enjoy this season immensely.

Agree ,everything crossed he has an injury free season ,he owes it to us and the club.
Wonderful bloke and player ????????? I just dont see it . ( not saying see`s a wrongun or a s hit player ,either ) but he`s no legend and owes QPR a massive debt ,not the other way round.Rangers,Scooters ,Tunes and Trainers
