I have to go to Tamworth occasionally to visit the family of my lovely lady. They're nice people....... but what a total dive.

Most people are walking around aimlessly with their mush on the deck.

She must be a freak of nature........ or just sensible to get the hell out of there.

West Brom ready club record £10m bid for Charlie Austin.....

        • 10m with add ons. Need to be careful of this. Austin is great but he isn't going to get 100 England caps or score 20 goals a season for five years imho. If we go down the add ons route they need to be very realistic targets. Still, finally looks as if there is concrete interest. Will put pressure on Jack Ashley especially to get off the pot or start getting down to business.

Awful move. Not even worth considering from Austin's point of view IMO.

            • looks like charlie could be staying

i was in thatcham yesterday and a lot of people there work for charlies dad, according to them charlie has alledgedly
said that only newcastle have really showed any real interest in him,and hes not sure whethe he would want to travel that far from his family
so that may or maynot be some indication of what is going on
but if he stayed we would have to pay him a 5 million signing on fee at the start of the next season

BUT I THINK TO KEEP HIM WE MUST ALSO ONCE MORE GET PROMOTION WHICH WOULD VERY MUCH DEPEND ON GERRY FRANCIS
COMMING TO LOFTUS ROAD IF GERRY RETURNS THEN WE ARE IN THE LAND OF MILK AND HONEY

Charlie Austin heading to Chelsea as Newcastle eye Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli

                  - NEWCASTLE have made Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli their top target this summer, effectively ending their pursuit of QPR's Charlie Austin.

                            • Would be very interesting to see what Charlie would do say if Leicester were the only club to meet our valuation. Would he move just to be in the prem or stay to work a better deal for himself next year and maybe go to a bigger club.

The good thing is if someone meets our valuation it should force the other clubs to make their move and stump up or miss out.

As much as I love Charlie and hang on to a little hope he might stay for the benefit of the club I hope this is finalised and sorted out in the next week or two so we know where we stand and can go out and find suitable replacements.

The Express is reporting on Sunday that Steve McClaren thinks the good relationship he formed with Charlie Austin when Steve was at QPR for three months two

Would be one of the best bits of business they've ever done. I hope we play hard ball for some serious add-ons based on games played and goals scored for them.
