Better all round game Kane yep would agree with that but I like my strikers to score goals first and foremost and over their careers I would guess Charlie will score more

You surely cannot be thinking it would be better for us to accept less than our valuation in order that he benefits financially.
The most we currently stand to lose is the £4m we paid for him. Big deal. Particularly if he scores 25 goals in the Championship, which is entirely feasible. Then, if we go up again, he gets to choose if he goes, or stays where he is wanted, with the club that gave him his opportunity when others wouldn't.
No problem at all if he wants to take a chance and move now. But it needs to be done on our terms, nobody else's.

Austin left two months before the end of last season. That's when he looked uninterested in our cause and gave up his hard work in our opponents box. You cannot keep a player against his will. If his heart is set elsewhere, then we're done. Adel was similar in a way. He just used the R's to put himself in the shop window and when nothing materialized, he just just gave up his commitment. I am sorry to say this, but in Austin case we may have something similar, maybe not as bad as Adel.....however, he may not be as prolific in the CCC as everyone is predicting.
