  • Strikers

with Charlie's impending departure to West Ham for the reported 15 mill we want it surely must be time to kick off our striker hunt. We need atleast two class championship strikers if we are to compete next year imo.

Who do you reckon offers the best value or combination?

    Rhodes
    Afobe
    Dicko
    Guddetti
    Steve may
    Carlton Cole
    Lambert
    Gayle
    Nahki wells
    James Vaughan
    Hooper
    Andre gray
    Murray
    Murphy
    Bamford
    Emnes

Really think that John Guidetti would be a good signing. Wages dependant of course.

Apparently a proper prima donna who reckons himself as the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Perhaps he's had his wings clipped after bombing out at City.

Most likely on the list made by the OP are Andre Gray and Carlton Cole I think.

Can't vouch for Guidetti's personality, but he has a bit of talent on the pitch.

Gray is the most likely I reckon, I hope we are looking across Europe also. None of them names really excite me apart from Rhodes, Afobe and Gayle and they are all very unlikely.

Didn't set the world on fire on loan at Celtic, only 8 goals all season. I would of thought a young striker with the quality that he supposedly has would have filled his boots in that league!

I did say a bit of talent.... When I saw him he looked decent, seemed to be on the bench quite a lot tho.............. 20 goals in 24 games for Feyenoord if u go back a couple of seasons, no doubt quality is there. As for attitude? I unno.

Maybe Mackie has been signed as a striker. Can see Carlton cole rocking up as a cheap target man and Gray being the marquee signing. Not sure if I would be massively excited by that. Just don't think we will be spending the masses of money that some expect but would love to be proved wrong

We should go for Guidetti. Free transfer, decent striker.

Stevie May is the one we should have signed before he went to Shef/Wed spoke to Andy Gray ex QPR now an agent up in Scotland and friend of HR he said he could get him for us and could get so many of the young scots but May is a def miss imo
