Pulis would have kept QPR up as he did WBA and Palace last season (the latter had a team much worse than QPR's yet ended up comfortably in mid table).

I think a lot of people have forgotten how poor we really were in the Championship. Nothing and No-one would have kept us up last season (IMO) and we are back at the level we can consistently compete at.

Yes, but good for stuff to throw at our youth team coach.

We were indeed very poor. How we got to the play offs I have no idea. Recruitment wise some not bad players but hopelessly unbalanced squad with exposed defence and really just Charlie up top.

For me board made mistakes but main person to blame was wise old 'Arry.

Anyway new plan, new management team, lets see what they can do.

Have to agree totally. All in the past now, let's look (hopefully) to a bright future

i agree redkrapp was to blame. However I disagree with Shepherds Mush about nobody being able to keep QPR. That is baloney at best.

phillips was wasted by Redkrapp. Had he been playing in Nov Dec and Jan QPR would have won more points without any doubt whatsoever.
pulis also knows abput organisi g a defence. There is no way Caulker Dunne Onuoha Ferdinand Isla Hill yun would have been ad poor or inconsistant under his managememt. How many on here thought he could have got Palace to keep the clean sheets they did with the defenders he inherited?

                Boring yes, but not poor.
Had Phillips and Austin not got injured QPR would have finished 2nd.

Agree with that. And you can add to that the fact that Fer was constantly played out of position.

I would like to think we would have finished second but i cannot see it. We were starting to hang on before Austin got injured and we were nowhere near as good as Burnley or Leicester in my opinion. Might have nicked third from Derby but not second for me

Now looking very likely indeed that #QPR will sign Ravel Morrison.

These signings are getting better and better, hopefully we wont please the many on here who predict relegation or bottom half.

Hope he's a reformed character as I think Barton became. No doubting his ability, and usually prepared to put genuine effort in, too.

This would be the kind of signing that defines our expectations for the coming season.
