    Ok, so did Ander Herrera merit a 28m fee when he went to Man Utd, and what about Luke Shaw, was he worth 30m based on what he's done in his career? Personally I did think either are worth that sort of money but this is the sort of money that big clubs will pay for young players with the potential to be world class these days!

      No, neither should be worth anywhere near that much. Pricing for players in this day and age is farking ridiculous.

        Don't disagree mate, but that's how it is. On the plus side, we should benefit greatly from it when Sterling eventually leaves Liverpool.

          Yeah granted. And I won't complain if we get £15mill plus for Charlie. But still, its crazy what the game has become.

            Liverpool have just signed that Brazilian lad Firminio as replacement for Sterling so expect them to accept an improved offer from City probably nearer £50M in the near future
