I always thought he left because he wanted to be a 1st team player (not sub/squad player)? If thats the case and he did come here would that mean he will play a big part and be a starter every week??

Wasn't it a case of not having promises made to him not being fulfilled ie when he returned to the club he wasn't told of the financial state of the club , that school of thought that Harry waked away of his own free will imo he was forced out and gave the knee's story to be paid off and mistakenly not lose face

See your point but for me he like Harry he bottled it as the financial state of club was well known and recall he made reference to it saying club being as it was hurt him and he wanted to help out so he was well aware. Just turned out he could not sort things out so stepped down when it was clear we were gone. Had it been because of broken promised would not have hung around assisting Ollie

I think he just never wanted the relegation on his name like Harry never so chipped

Well whatever westy but as I asked is Les having doubts about Ramsey and thinks he could benefit from the help of someone with a deeper insight of team oganization and match tactics then who better ? dont bite a helping hand

Im not against an experienced number two mate hence why I suggested Curbishley so if it was Francis I would not object. Gorman experienced number two with Magilton worked well enough two until the headbutts went in

Not sure Curbishley has very good man management skills tho remember Dan Shitto refusing to back to Charlton when on loan because of Curbishley's attitude towards him , and we got Big Dan for a song

Gerry would be a fantastic addition to Ramseys coaching staff

                          I'd rather him to Bond.

But I fear he's yesterday's man and while being a club legend doesn't have the ideas we'd need to succeed next season
I should probably write something insightful here
