I sctually disagree.Redkrapp chose to play a negative counter attsck game away from home, but for that to work he needed pace up front, which is something Remy would havr provided.
Also, how many games at home did QPR fail to win by not taking their chances?
liverpool , Man Utd, Swansea, Souhtampton, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton Chelsea & West Ham. 7 defeats and 2 draws where Remy alongside Austin would surely hsve resulted in at least 2 wins and 4 draws. Which is an extra 8 points.
Another thing ti consider is there is more pressure on the defence if
    a. There is no real outlet.
    b. They are not confident that the attack will score often.

not sure it'd be so simple... had remy stayed then charlie a wouldn't have played so much (they never looked like a partnership to me at least), so maybe remy would have nicked a few goals that charlie wouldn't have, but then charlie did grab a couple that remy wouldn't have, plus bobby would have contributed zip...

bottom line... remy going off didn't kill our chances, dodgy defending did.

i thought they worked reasonably well at home to Hull on the opening day and Remy would have scored had he had a pre season to get his match sharpness up to standard.

Maybe it was a combination of things that relegated us. Poor defending, lack of attacking outlets, poor tactics/selection etc.

That's true, but I think people are deluding themselves if they think Remy would not have made a difference. Its possibly true that Redkrapp might have not selected Austin for away games but he would have at home rather than Zamora and QPR would have scored more goals therefore winning more home points by at least turning some of those 1 goal defeats into draws or better.

Would put Bobby in before Remy..why pick some fancy frog that don't want to be there.Remy is a cannt of the highest order, typifies what's wrong in football today.

Wasted two years of a relatively short career.

                  Idiot.

Remy with Austin up front would have easily have won us more games than we did with Austin and fckin Bobby "Can't Shoot, Won't Shoot" Zamora

He's a very good player but not a top three prem league player in my opinion , will always warm the bench at the top clubs

I'd go so far to say that given a consistent run of games in a top side, Remy could easily be the best striker in the PL

Not in my opinion, not saying he is a bad player at all, but not top top draw which you need to be at those clubs.
