Did PSG really ever offer that?
It is a real shame about him, because he is a talented player ad he occasionally proved for QPR in the premiership as well ad at AC Milan.

Redkrapp's management of him was dreadful and dare I say it, the "fat" comments from him and the Boards lack of action against Harry must have really pi$$ed him off.

Sorry, but I think it is pathetic to defend Adel.

The most talented player I have seen play for Rangers. Hope he does well. Sad that so many of our fans resent him due to what they've been told by the club hierarchy.

He should never have been stripped of the captaincy after getting us promoted.

He'll be at a top 5 club in one of the big leagues in 2 or 3 seasons.

Finally, lets watch as he c0cks up somewhere else, a wasted talent for sure
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

We accepted and they pulled the plug at the last minute when they got a new manager in who didn't want Adel. I think that's right anyway.

If he does I promise you those that support him will blame everyone but him once again

Started off well at Milan then screwed up and they ditched him. I reckon he will start off ok at Benfica but he will do what Carbs does fad away and revert to type

As for him signing for a huge club not sure I agree back in the 60s yes but modern day football their a big side in name only (Like Newcastle), step up from us very much so but certainly not the Barcelona, Madrid, Milan or Arsenal that he kept speaking of and suggesting they were all after him

I don't think he can lace the boots off Simon stainrod, or even John Byrne, that alone Stanley

There's a difference between talent and impact.

Taarabt is probably the most naturally talented player we've ever had, but we only saw a flash of that and he wasted the potential.

The players you mention will always be more respected.

What a flipping rollercoaster ride Adel's time was with us eh? I prefer to rememember the peaks and wish him well. I have a sneaking feeling we ought to have tried to chisel out a sell-on percentage clause though as it wouldn't surprise me if the little scamp sorted himself out and earned a big money move in next few years.
