Seems that's about it really, not too much more to say is there??
Some are looking forward to it changing, I don't think it's necessary but if it changes that's fine, it'll still be the QPR badge and we move on.

Just think it sets a dodgy precendent for Tony to react to some fans demanding it be changed. Not every one will like the new one, some will look on it as the hated Fernandes badge, how long before they start demanding the next one be changed too?

There will always be a subset of the fanbase who will be demanding that something about the club be changed, they're not always going to be the voice of the whole fanbase.

Sure if fans have an input it will be a lot better than the current badge. Pretty sure there will be a significant increase in merchandise sales if we go back to the classic badges or similar.

I'll always have a soft spot for the 80's badge as it was there for my formative years, but the current one is fine and more like older badges than that one.

Can you imagine the reaction that 80's badge would have received now if it was introduced in the same way?

We had QPR in interconnecting letters in the 40s and also in the 70s , so the 80s badge still had similarities to previous designs ( especially the 40s one ).
If your happy with whatever badge we have ,because its QPR , then why are you so anti changing the badge especially as we will have a say in its design ? For someone who says they don`t mind ,you seem to have a massive axe to grind with changing the crest and the people who want it changed .

I don't mind, I just don't see what's wrong with the current one, and don't like the precedent of Tony making decisions based on a fans on social media. I also don't think we should be spending money on something so unnecessary.

The current badge looks ridiculous. Admittedly that is just my opinion but it is shared by MANY other QPR fans, not just a "few" on social media. On this site alone there was a poll a few weeks ago where over 40% said we should change the badge NOW, and others said they voted "no" to changing the badge NOW but would still like it changed.

When we had the previous badge, I do not remember one single person complaining about it. It's too late to complain about it retroactively just because a huge proportion of the QPR fan base are complaining about the current one, which you happen to like.

The club will MAKE money by changing the badge! It is likely losing a six figure sum EVERY SINGLE YEAR in lost merchandise sales because of the ####ing badge. The sooner it changes it the more money it will MAKE. Yes, I know you'll ask me were I got that number even though I posted it on another thread where you responded to my specific post so here it is again: 1,000 fans each not spending around £150 per year = £150,000 PER YEAR. And when you consider the huge percentage that want it changed IMMEDIATELY, that is a very conservative estimate.

This means that the other 60% couldn't give a s**t, personally I'm not a lover but who gives a Fu(k there are far more important things this club should be dealing with, lets get everything correct in the boardroom and on the pitch, then think about whether we should be doing this? I feel that this is Tony trying to appease some fans because of all the #### ups the club have made in recent times, Appointing a manager not everyone or most dont want, a DOF who seems to be doing very little, FFS the badge can wait?

But the badge is waiting. It won't be unveiled till before the 16/17 season, so that leaves this season to deal with more pressing matters, like building a squad that can either stay in the Championship or going up at the first attempt again, as well as dealing with anything thrown at us by the FFP thing.

Genuine question to all who say there are more important things to worry about - Will getting a new badge really get in the way or stop the cub dealing with other matters???

Knowing our recent luck, it probably will somehow.
In any case, a new badge proposal at this point is just a useless smokescreen.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:
