But i believe they will be stronger this year for there last campaign, thats all the coach is doing he is warning fans that still demand instant success that it takes time, buying success doesn't work for clubs like ourselves, we need to build a squad and produce are own youngsters. Im quite happy with the way we seem to be going this time, just hope we have a stable season and lets see what we can do the season after.
yes we have signed the aussie kid and his frankenstien team mate (both div1) but looking at the current players that we are being linked with..............

    glenn murrey 30yo
    darren prattly 30yo
    jet div 1 player
    carlton cole 30-31 yo

its not exactly a "young and hungry" group of talented lads is it.

    what aboult players like

    andre gray
    olsson (blackburn)
    redmond
    will hughes

those are players we should be trying to take to build this club up for the future. how about getting rid of green and playing our young sought after keeper mccarthy?

at the moment with the plaers being linked, i dont see for the life of me where all this young hungry team building is coming from.
    nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

Jet is only 24 ( i don't think he will sign, talking to much££) , Darren Pratlly and Murrey would be very good additions, in my opinion, as you cant just have a total squad of youngsters, you need some experience out there. Hughes would be amazing but no chance of moving to another championship club , same with Redmond , to be fair im not to sure about Gray .. Olsson yes like him, but its all about availability its ok throwing names out there but they have to be available and willing to come.

Not saying there's a right or wrong answer but the comments are likely to ease the pressure on the players, it's what's being said behind closed doors what is most important.

The managers comments won't sell season tickets, that'll be defined by the players that we sign.

Andre Gray is an odd one. Scored 18 goals last year i think in a very good team. However Brentford supporting friends have said that if they had a better striker they would have gone up automatically, reckon he is extremely wasteful and misses hatfuls of chances every game. Personally i think thats bull considering he scored 18.

Like I said from the beginning, he will get his excuses in early and watch us get another relegation to league 1.

The bloke is a grade A #### and was employed as a cheap option by an idiot chairman who couldn't run a #### up in a brewery.

Exactly. Let's face facts he had a worse record than redknapp and has #### all experience as manager.

Whats wrong with this article? As Ramsey states(?), we have to rebuild and consolidate for a period now. IMO, the most imporant thing is that we implement a set style of play and then buy players accordingly. If we do that, it should be much easier for a new coach/manager to start if Ramsey sooner or rather later gets the sack.

Sorry Terry but I still don't agree all sportsmen thrive on confidence and even the very best like to think they are better than what they really are , good managers are always telling their players how good they think they are ,
They can talk as much as they like inside the club but if fans hear negativity coming out it wont encourage them to want to buy s/t's or memberships or matchday tickets , at the moment I am not renewing my s/t and if I hear much more of Ramsey's negative excuses I certainly wont

I do not for one minute think he is in the same league as Rhodes, Callum Wilson etc who are proven championship strikers. Gray had an excellent debut season in a team that is all about attack and plays some great football. If he had 30 I'd think he was the dogs! Possibly overrated, but my point is he's only had one season. We shall see how he develops and depending on our purchases this summer, he could either be a waste of money, a shrewd acquisition or the one that got away.

Totally agree, getting in his excuses early, looks like we're going to be wasting money on very average players, he's talking utter Bollo(ks about players wanting to move to London, most of the foreigners do ,but Darren Pratley REALLY has the bloke ever been that good, I fear a long stretch in the championsh and possibly even lower with this clown in charge?
