Yeah technically anyone can just make up an email address and details and just not tick the 'enter me for the draw' box and skew the numbers for any team

The system checks IP addresses. It automatically placed me in Estonia when I opened the registration page.

No doubt there will be a few gormless plonkers who will do that but I sincerely doubt whether it will be enough to make any difference, since they can't win a trip and there is no prize for finishing first.

I think this is just a marketing initiative by the Football League to find out how much overseas support there is, which could portend more coverage for us in the future (here's hoping) - which is why it's important for people to vote, whatever FL team they vote for.

Even though there is no prize for finishing first, I think it is interesting to see how we stack up with other teams in terms of global support.
