Think Rhodes has come in for a bit of unfair stick here.
He signed a contract for Blackburn and despite doing very well for them, he is happy to honour it. Deserves a lot of credit for that in my opinion. When there were all sorts of stories last year about where he would go, he came out and said he was very happy there. Personally would far rather a team of happy players performing well for a club they want to be at, than one that we had along with many other clubs, where there are players in in solely for what they can get financially.
I expect Jordan Rhodes will be able to look back on a very fulfilling career where he played the vast majority of games for his clubs, as opposed to sitting on the bench all the time or even only occasionally. Very much doubt the likes of Scott Sinclair, Jack Rodwell etc. will be entirely happy with their careers in hindsight, considering those they could have had if money and inflated egos hadn't got in the way of the adoration they could have had with their talent.
