  • QPR and Villa interested two Swindon Midfielders

Aston Villa and QPR have both made a £3.5m bid for Swindon Town midfielders Massimo Luongo, 22, and Ben Gladwin, 22, but the League One club are holding out for a £4m deal

    Anybody know about them?

Luongo - 22 year old Aussie started at Spurs (aggghhh Zelic and ward? Hehehehe).. Made 34 appearances last year scoring 6 goals

Gladwin - 22 year old that made his way through non league. Made 34 appearances last year scoring 8 goals.

Sounds like exactly the type of player that the new transfer policy should be attempting to get.

I know it means nothing but I'm glad to see we are being linked with promising names and its not even June. Business done asap please so we can have a good pre season.

I Posted this yesterday. Was happy to see we were looking at youngsters and looking to spend money although I openly admit I don't know much about any of them.

Both off to villa then? Hard choice Prem or Championship

Instead of prem vs championship maybe think bench/reserves vs first team

Didn't do Charlie any harm moving to a championship club

They may ruin their career and stay on the bench at Villa If they think about it.

According to this, deal could be done this week. Let's see where he ends up. I have never seen him play, but he must be good, because 3 million for League 1 player is quite a lot

His mentor David Magrone is now working under Les as a scout so we must have a chance.

Luongo is the more highly rated of the 2. So we will probably end up with Gladwin

Word is we have one the race for these two. Great news, will be great in league one the season after imo.
