Anyone a bit worried about the transfer policy this summer?

I bet Ramsey has a better standing in the game then people give him credit for. Just because he's not a household name to the average fan does not mean he's not known the footballing world.
This bloke will have decent enough connections and is probably very clued up on up and coming talents from prem clubs right down to the bottom division.
We will have some money to spend as we will sell a lot. The only thing I would worry about is a transfer embargo if the ffp thing is decided imminently. What you might find is we have to spend this summer as if we don't we could be hit with one in jan aswell.
Give les some credit too he's said what we need and this is his first chance to influence the club and he's not stupid.

I'm worried that we will sign shite free transfers and blindly trust mediocre academy players under the guise of learning from our mistakes. We can't go from one extreme to another, we still need a good 30M investment this summer imo, even if we find bargains. Large transfer fees are only mistakes if you sign crap...
Would rather be looking at players from France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Germany than English players, as the prices here are inevitably inflated, even in the lower leagues. Even more so when you consider our recently acquired reputation...

Important summer for #QPR. Key issue is how they may react to an FFP deal/let-off. If humility goes out the window so will chance to rebuild

Hopefully we will show we have learned. I think we will spend a few mill as we need players but where we need to show humility is on the stupid wages we have offered previously. We can still attract the best players and offer a decent wage but we were just being stupid with previous offers.

Perosnally, I'm worried - with potentially a shoestring budget, a manager with no standing in the game in terms of attracting players, and a squad that needs thinning down massively, this summer could easily be the stuff of nightmares for us."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

if we could get 15 mil for austin, 10 mil for the sterling sale and 8 mil for fer, thats 33 mil in the bank.
with that and the parachute payment, we should have near to 50 mil in income. is it reasonable to suggest that we can expect 15 to 20 mil in outlay on players that we desperatly need\?nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

Think if this current side had pace on flanks and box to box engine in middle of park we would be different outfit
