  • Are we getting our Rangers back?

Over the past few years this has been the cry from the disaffected, anti TF fan that we have somehow lost our Rangers.

But with the appointment of Les and Ramsey with a remit to nurture young talent a CEO with actual experience of running a football team, talk of new code of conduct and the latest appointment of Andy Sinton as club ambassador do we think we might be getting our Rangers back? Thoughts?

Apparently all those are just to "appease the fans". Some will never ever be happy. Personally am happy with every appointment, not so much with Ramsey but time will tell. There are football people being appointed now, some of whom have an affinity with the club, and this imo is good.

Exactly this. Way to early to say "we are getting our Rangers back" IMO, but we are certainly making some decisions that would indicate so - pleasing to see.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Come on now, you can see why people would think it is another 'spin' to appease the fans.
Lets not all rush to conclusions again, thinking all these backroom signings are going to be amazing and great for the club - A lot like to do that on this forum.
They may be 'football people' but that means fvck all, they could still be a shambles like before.

Until i see people doing their jobs properly, i refuse to jump to conclusions saying we are getting our Rangers back and these appointments are promising.
            Seen it all before...

can't see why it would be to appease the fans when a large portion of them will never have heard of andy sinton

But its ok for people to quickly jump to conclusions that nothing will change though eh

End of the day this is the first long term plan we have under TF and co and I have a bit of hope they might have finally learnt lessons but I also know this isn't a quick fix and could take years to change things

                        Which people specifically?

How will you see them doing their jobs on a day to day basis?

And how long before you conclude that they aren't doing them properly, bearing in mind the size of the task?

Particularly as you might be relying on TV highlights.

Lets start at the top with the Chairman shall we... and then move on to see if the new CEO does a job that the fans are happy with, along with Les, CR and the academy manager.

As fans you should be able to know and feel if they are doing their jobs properly right? - We all knew Phil Beard was shocking because of the contracts he handed out.
Not sure how long we should give them until we judge but surely in 3 years time we will have an idea?

You surprise me. I have to say that 3 years is more than enough time to judge. Personally, I think pre-season and the whole of next season will be enough to see if we are well on the way to a full recovery.

I was expecting you to give us till the end of August.
