Shocking appointment by an idiot Chairman! What on earth makes TF think CR is the solution based on his appalling record since taking over? Club record for home defeats in a row, relegation, playing SWP when EVERYONE knows SWP is a sack of shite, poor subtituations, poor team selection etc etc etc?Sacked by Christmas and relegated to Division One by March! TF IS QPR'S PROBLEM!!!!

Good appointment. Its the way forward for a club like us. Big names just spend a lot of money on has beens and achieved nothing in the end. CR knows that he is not bigger then the club and wants to prove himself. For me, that philosophy will favour the R's long term. However, I am not too optimistic of regaining our place back in the Premier. He needs time.

Not convinced about the appointment myself. This is based purely on what i witnessed in the 14 games or so he took charge of. His record at home was abysmal and the away form was little better. Some very odd tactical decisions and player selections as well. Not to mention his lack of experience. However for once the club have acted quickly and not thrown money at a supposed "top" manager. Can only get behind the guy on match day and hope he works out.
I can guarantee you I will not be calling for his head, even if we end up languishing down the bottom of the league next season.
As long as we're going about the business of rebuilding a football club in a positive fashion, then I'm happy to be patient.

If we gonna bring our youngsters and some peoples from lower leagues things won't just click over night. Of course i won't mind if we can challenge for promotion right away, but i'm also realistic and i expect that safe midtable will be more realistic to us next season, of course it depends who'll stays and how we succeed in the transfer market. Just like Martinmalta said CR needS time. Maybe couple of silent years to get foundation strong and youngster more experienced and few good signings and then we might be ready for promotion. Patience is the word now

Must admit I have reservations, but more than happy to give him the benefit of the doubt while he's in charge. I'm sure he wants the same as we do and we should do our best to help him achieve his aims.
In a way I'm glad we're not going down the route of getting in another "proven" manager like the last two.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

With so many out of contract it will be his squad, with youngsters that want to play for the club.
We gave Hughes and Redknapp a chance who spanked money all over the place.

Good appointment. We've tried the big names and we know how that turned out, so time to try something different.

What a load of pony. Give him a chance/ long term plan bla bla bla. He's had his chance, and proved to be clueless.
This reminds me of Gary Waddock ten years ago. Took over as Caretaker, won about one game in eight and was still given the job permanently. Of course was kicked out after about 5 weeks of the new season with us bottom of the league.
