Only just heard the news and wanted to say well done to the club from sorting this out asap.
This is now a new chapter in the life of QPR, finally we shall be going back to our old roots and searching players from lower leagues and finding the odd gem. I have a good feeling about this, might not be a quick fix but in a few years time we could be a very attractive club like Southampton are today.
I'm really happy that it's all sorted now, it shows that our club are not wasting anymore time and want things moving asap, why would anyone not be pleased?
Players have a lot of respect for CR, that means players will give him 100%. Not only that he must have a list of young hungry players that he wants to bring to our club, it's going to be an interesting few years that's for sure.
I don't expect anything from this season coming but from the year after it will start to show and pay off.
Looks like we got our club back.

The best thing about this thread is that 10 games into next season if we are struggling, the ones full of praise for Ramsey and his appointment will be the first on here saying he is a rubbish coach/manager and should be sacked.
Not convinced about the appointment myself. This is based purely on what i witnessed in the 14 games or so he took charge of. His record at home was abysmal and the away form was little better. Some very odd tactical decisions and player selections as well. Not to mention his lack of experience. However for once the club have acted quickly and not thrown money at a supposed "top" manager. Can only get behind the guy on match day and hope he works out.

I think Tony is not setting for a quick return to the ELP. I can see us dropping.

I'm in 2 minds but overall probably feel he should have a crack at it.
On the subject of a few wanting Warburton (I wouldn't have minded him as well) but I do think it's a bit hypocritical when saying Ramsey is too old and not much experience. Well Warburton is a similar age and only had 1 job previously. He obviously got them up (something they were a missed pen away from doing the previous season) and to get them in the playoffs was immense. But what he did was continuing what was going on before and how would be have done coming into us with the set up we had. I can pretty much guarantee that if we were struggling under him the same people wanting him would be like why have we got an ex city boy Brentford reject with only 2 years of experience.
TF was never going to win as there will always be people complaining no matter who we got so let's get behind Ramsey and if we are only mid table next season don't get on his back as the next few years is rebuilding. I don't expect miracles but I know a lot on here want long term progress to happen tomorrow.

Looks like we got our club back."When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0
