Not sure either way if I am pleased about the appointment but lets give him a go and see what happens and will have my full support.

You cannot give a manager a 1 year contract, the players all know he will be leaving shortly so will take liberties. If they know the manager is staying 3 years at least they know if they kick off or ease off it will be them leaving and not the manager.

Impossible situation for Fernandes, which ever route he went down people would criticise him, I tend to judge decisions on if they are made in the best interest of the club then great even if they don't come to fruition as we all want. He's no Richard Thompson and for that I'm grateful.

My main concern or next season is we are going to do any business apparently until the results of FFP are known, could end up being the same shambles we had at the beginning of this season.

I think with Qpr contesting FFP , and with most of the high earners either out of contract or with a relegation clause written in this time, an embargo wouldn't be put on us in the summer, possibly in January but that depends on the outcome of the case

NO manager can guarantee success but many can guarantee huge expense, we have form.

If you really can't bear the thought of Les and CR may I suggest that just for a few months you keep a lowish profile until as you expect we don't succeed, I suspect you may be disappointed.

Les was with us when we still had our identity and was a perfect example of what many of us on here are hoping for - good scouting, developed whilst at the club and going on to play for England and worth much more than we paid for him.

We would develop players, sell them & then replace.. Ie sinton ---> Sinclair

Charlie is another good example of the way of QPR of old.. Bought from a championship club and now worth much more than we bought him for - sadly that example is far too rare these days.

Just give the guy a bloody chance at least until the end of next season.

                Preachy rant over...
Good post mate. These posters cannot see the irony in wanting another big name manager in.

                          Warnock 20%

                          • Of cause Ramsey has to be given a chance now the decision has been made , but don't take away fans right voice their opinions if they feel they haven't seen anything to warrant a 3 year deal For me a 1year rolling contact to start with and let him earn the financial security of a 3 year deal would have far more acceptable
Personally I am not convinced by him or the DOF but certainly hope to be proved wrong

                              bingo.

les and tony will sign all the players they want and chris ramsey will just coach them.

Just because I think he is a decent appointment as gaffer, doesn't mean I will be looking to bend one in him!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
