Voted McCarthy. He's 10 years younger than Green and hopefully be our number 1 for many many years. I had absolutely nothing against Green, without him and Charlie we would have been down by march. I voted only because of the future and because McCarthy is a excellent young keeper

Green is a very good keeper for us and pulls off great saves but I am amazed that they are interested in him given the clangers he lets in. If you were Chelsea in a champions league final or semi and the No1 got injured would you be confident Green stepping in

I honestly dont think Green is the type to be happy about seeing out his career on the bench.

Fair enough, sounds good mate. Yeah can certainly expect a few more youngsters getting game time under Ramsey, just hope it is through ability and not necessity.

                definately

definately macarthy to be a great keeper you need to get a lot of games under your belt
and macarthy needs to be given the whole of next season to develop
i dont like green i never have his inconstancy is unacceptable he can pull of a world save one minute
then let in a simple goal the next minute he should move to chelsea as a number two

I voted Alex but I'd like to know what money he's on, just have the feeling it's not low and can we offered that for next season?

Hate to point this out to you guys but Lennox is one of the youngsters not given new contracts and released.

The real youth player to watch out for in goal is Joe Lumley who was given a two year contract along with Darnell Furlong

Exactly how I see it. Greeno has done very well for us but we are paying him far too much. We need to get our finances in order and McCarthy is more than capable of being our #1.

As the choice is to choose between the two I would opt for the younger fella. Greeno has been great for us, especially when his first period was competing against the Brazillian chap. He has been reliable over the last two seasons and yes he has made mistakes but tell me a keeper in the PL who hasn't.
On another front, Matty mentioned AM's kicking as poo, we all know Greeno's is dire as well. Makes you wonder what sort of coaching they are both getting.

New dawn. Great young keeper, who could be our number one for years to come.

I thought McCarthy had some decent kicking distance wise, even got it near their box, something greeno never has done. I think it looked cack because no one was that high up the pitch. They were probably used to getting the ball before the halfway line
