Why are you drawing these comparisons? I really don't see this as anything other than stereotyping and racism. Look at Yaya toure, Zidane, Aubameyang, Brahimi, Patrick viera, Desailly, Benatia. All of them french african footballers who are considered some of the best of their time.
"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

Sometimes I wonder about some of the users on here.......

Jordan Ayew is a bit of a pony, much worse than his brother. He'd handle the Championship but I can't see him coming unless it's for big money that he's prob not worth.

Didn't know he was from Algeria to be honest. Thought he was just from France.

Not sure the race card has been played..just pointing out that for every poor "french african" as you like to call them there are equally good ones..by your argument we should never by another Irish player because we once had tony scully! or a welsh player as we had vinnie Jones..where they are from doesn't make them useless ..it is actually that they are just useless.
