What I really gutted about is the fact we have just been relegated from, outside the top six, the poorest Premier League for a long time. Never will a club like Rangers have a better chance of staying in the top flight. And all for the sake of 8 points.

This squad of players at any other club with the possible exception of pathetic Newcastle would have another 8 points in them.

I can stand losing. If you follow your local club or your boyhood heroes it goes with the territory if that club happens to be outside the elite. What I can't stand is throwing points away like we have over the season.

I don't blame Ramsey. I don't think he and Les are the answer but the damage was done by Bagpuss and his band of idiots - I could see the faith healer turning up at any time. Arry should have gone last year as he was planning to do instead of staying here for the money like some of the players.

Someone posted that Mourinho wouldn't have kept us up, and I agreed with the OP. I've changed my mind. If even Hughes can get a mediocre Stoke team to top ten with a club record points total then a decent, organised, motivated manager could have got 8 points out of our lot.

I agree, but that's history now. No good looking at what could've happened, better off looking to next season now.

Half of those 8 point would have been achieved if Austin doesn't miss penalties against Hull and West Ham. Such fine lines in this league.

Agree it's been a poor Premier League this year and I've seen some dross, but we have been awful at times.

I think we have thrown away points in excess of eight. Think there is an argument with points we have thrown away in last 5mins that we would have been safe tow or three games ago but such is life

We have thrown away pts like most teams down the bottom but the reality is that we haven't been good enough and we've had the worst defence in top flight history. I think nedum is utter sh it. A liability that for a well spoken chap has zero composure and no footballing brain. Surprised he has interested party's. Him and yun should be plying their trade in and around league 1. Add to the old boys that are past it and no wonder Greene was so exposed. Happy to play in a league that matches our ability and let's hope we clear out as much as possible. I'd keep fer and phillips but struggling to add another from this squad. Austin will clearly leave
