As for Fer, caulker, McCarthy and Phillips if the club have ambitions to come straight back up or to have a right good go we should do all we can to keep them. Good ages and all have 2 plus years left on their contract. I also think yun can hold his own At championship level and Robinson looked very good for Huddersfield on loan this year until he got injured.
If we kept them four, inter grated some of our youth players like doughty, furlong ect to squad status and kept maybe Henry and dunne on as squad players for a bit of experience we would have a decent base to build on.

Matty Phillips -- loads of potential, fast, a little more touch/finish and he'll be an all-star in Championship with continued PL potential
Leroy Fer -- in an injury-shortened season, showed flashes of highlight reel scoring power
Nedum Onouha -- emerging leader/anchor on the back line; speed and grit; build new defense around him
Darnell Furlong -- a young and emerging talent; with coaching nothing but upside; great attitude/leadership skills
Reece Greco-Cox -- there's something about this speedy dude that's going to light up our fan base, our fortunes on the field
Alex McCarthy -- time to develop the next great goalkeeper; has much potential
As for the rest:
SWP, Adel, Krancjar, Hoilett, Traore, et alia -- we've had enough; no more; dump those with contracts at almost any cost
Petrasso and Doughty -- potential that needs bit more time to develop
Karl Henry -- keep around based on the right terms
Joey Barton -- a tough call; love his blood and guts efforts, but the rest of Joey comes at a price
Yun -- think he needs to be coached up a bit more, but think he's on a good track to improve his game
Bobby Z -- give him a hero's send off
1. I've not given up on Charlie yet. Probably gone but not definitely. We should stick to our guns and only sell if we are offered top dollar.
2. We are paying Onouha too much. Good player but we need to start considering value - and at 60k per week he does not provide it.
3. Fer has already shown that he just jumps ship when his club is relegated. I think he will be gone. Can we afford him in the Championship anyway?
4. I'd put Doughty in my nucleus. Certainly ahead of Furlong.
5. I'd also include Yun. Slaughtered for his performance at Man City but he was played out of position. Has bags of potential, IMHO.
6. Barton has to go. Has been paid FAR too much and is a disruptive influence that we need to clear out. Thank goodness his contract is up.
7. SWP - good riddance. He has not even tried to earn his keep. Just going through the motions on the pitch and really letting himself and everybody else down.
8. Bobby Z - well said!'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

With caulker, Fer and Phillips all having 2 plus years left on their contract and believed to have pay cuts in place due to relegation there is no need to sell.
Add the fact that this ffp fine won't be anywhere near as big as people are suggesting why would we sell all 5.
Keep Phillips, Fer and caulker and a few shrewd signings and we could be back in the prem this time next year.

Austin is a different story as people will offer big bucks and 1 year left on his deal. But the club has every right to put their foot down with caulker, Fer and Matty and say no your staying and quite often clubs do this until it gets down to the 1 year remaining point on the players contracts.
People keep saying caulker and Fer will be off but they might not fancy another move again a year after joining. I think the word deluded you thrown around there is a bit off. It's very plausible they could be with us or 2 of the, stay and 2 are sold depending on what the club want to do.
